Patna: Criticising RJD chief Lalu Prasad for his declaration that Rabri Devi, former chief minister would contest assembly polls from Sonepur and Raghopur seats was reminiscent of `jungle raj` by the party, ruling NDA said today.

``Prasad`s decision to field his wife Rabri devi from the two constituencies will remind the people of the jungle raj unleashed during the 15-year rule of the Lalu-Rabri duo,`` senior NDA leader and Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi commented.

On Prasad challenging Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Modi to contest against Rabri Devi from Sonepur and Raghopur constituencies, Modi said ``A simple worker of the NDA is capable of taking on Rabri Devi.``
``Rabri Devi by being in the electoral fray will help NDA to a great extent,`` he claimed.
