Patna: CPI General Secretary AB Bardhan on Monday said the next All India Conference of his party would take place in Patna in March 2012.
"We will soon decide the exact dates, but we will hold
in the month of March next year," Bardhan told reporters.
Stating that the All India Conference of CPI used to take
place once every three year, he said the decision to
hold the conference in Patna this year was deferred because of
the elections which concluded in five states recently.
The last conference was organised in Hyderabad in 2008,
he said, adding all those comrades who had stayed away from
the party works because of their personal and family reasons
would be invited for the proposed meet, he said.
"We want to strengthen the party base in Bihar," he
said, adding leaders of other left parties, including CPI-M,
Foward Bloc, RSP and CPI-ML would also be invited in the meet.
