Patna: Bihar BJP MLA Vijay Kumar Sinha on Monday filed an FIR in Lakhisarai district alleging that threats were made to him over his mobile phone.
Sinha, MLA from Lakhisarai, alleged in his FIR at the Lakhisarai police station that his political opponents, including a former RJD MLA, were issuing the threats.
He claimed that the threats were made last evening.
Senior police officials confirmed that they had received the FIR and were investigating it.
Yesterday, another BJP MLA Vinod Kumar Singh representing the Pranpur Assembly constituency in Katihar district, filed an FIR at the Shastri Nagar police station claiming that he had received threats on his mobile phone on
Saturday night.
