Bidhuri appointed NCP observer for Bihar assembly election

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri has been appointed as NCP observer for the coming assembly polls in Bihar.

Patna: Ramvir Singh Bidhuri has been appointed
as NCP observer for the coming assembly polls in Bihar by
party president and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar
who also constituted a six-member screening committee and a
five-member election manifesto preparation committee.

NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar told reporters here
that the screening committee to select the party`s candidates
would be headed by Nawal Kishore Shahi and Anil Jha would be
the chairman of election manifesto preparation committee.

A notification in this reagrd had already been issued by
senior party leader and former union minister P A Sangma,
Anawar said.

Meanwhile, former MP and socialist leader Ram Awadhesh
Singh today joined NCP with a large number of supporters.

Several members of JD(U) and LJP were also inducted into
the party fold by Anwar.
