Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
on Thursday condoled the death of the founder of Ranchi University's
department of Anthropology and former Vice-chancellor
Prof Sacchidanand.
In his condolance message Kumar described Prof
Sacchidanand as a person of 'international recognition
and veteran anthropologist'.
The CM recalled Prof Sacchidanand's
outstanding work when he was Director of Anugrah Narayan
Sinha Social Study Institute in Patna.
Kumar said that under the guidance of Prof
Sacchidanand, the institute had gained an important place in
providing research services.
He prayed to God to give enough strength to the
bereaved family to cope up with the crisis.
