Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish
Kumar on Sunday flagged off a radio taxi service here for use by
locals and tourists.
The service, being operated by private companies, will
make available taxies to people on a phone call, state Tourism
Minister Sunil Kumar Pintu said.
The users may pay by their credit or debit cards, he
said.
All taxis will be equipped with GPS for its tracking
and will provide facilities like immobilizer, panic button,
newspapers, music system, Pintu said.
A total 50 taxies will be run for the service, he said
adding it would be spread to other cities and towns in Bihar
in future.
