Patna: Bihar government today sanctioned a
sum of Rs 345.39 crore for the implementation of National
Agriculture Development scheme for which the Centre too had
had agreed to pump in over Rs 319 crore.
Briefing newsmen after the cabinet meeting additional
secretary, cabinet and coordination department B K Singh said
that the state cabinet chaired by chief minister Nitish Kumar
also sanctioned Rs 30.57 crore for the development of organic
The cabinet also decided to set up Franking machine for
the sale and purchase of court fee at High court and district
courts for which rules for Bihar Judiciary Fee (franking
machine stamp papers sale) ( Amendment) rules 2010 was put
forth and sanctioned.
The state cabinet also sanctioned a sum of Rs 8.40 crore
for the proper functioning of state owned National Institute
of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
The cabinet also sanctioned a sum of Rs 10 crore for
setting up of a power grid and distribution line between Tehta
(jehanabada) and Imamganj in Gaya district that was being set
up at a cost of Rs 51.20 crore, Singh said.
