Bihar: Maoists free three farmers

The ultras freed the farmers following fervent appeal from the villagers.

Sasaram: Armed Maoists, who abducted four farmers from Parariya village under Chutia police station in Bihar`s Rohtas district on Friday, released three of them unharmed on Monday, police sources said.

The ultras freed the farmers - Jaidher Tiwari, Dheeraj Tiwari and Rajgrih Mishra - following fervent appeal from the villagers, sources said.

Another farmer Vibhishan Tiwari was still in captivity.

The ultras had raided Parariya village on Friday night and kidnapped the four farmers.
