Bihar: One person shot dead, seven others injured
Madhubani (Bihar): One person was killed and seven others injured after they were shot at by a rival group at Ramkhetari village in Bihar's Madhubani district on Sunday.
A clash broke out between the two groups due to a land dispute and members of one of them opened fire killing one person of the other group on the spot, while seven others sustained injuries, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Jhanjharpur, Srikant Pathak said.
The deceased was identified and the injured were admitted to a nearby primary health centre where doctors referred one of them to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.
Eight persons belonging to both groups have been arrested in this connection, Pathak said.
