Nawada: At least three persons, including
husband of a village chief, were injured when a crude bomb
exploded at Merpur village in Bihar's Nawada district, police
said on Thursday.
The bomb exploded last night when a panchayat-level
meeting was going on at the village, sources said.
Vijay Kumar Choudhary, husband of village chief Sheila
Devi, and two others were injured in the explosion.
The injured were admitted to a government hospital here
for treatment.
