Bihar: Two arrested in Ranvir Sena chief’s murder

Two persons were on Thursday arrested in connection with the murde of Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh alias Mukhiyaji.

Patna: Two persons were on Thursday arrested in connection with the murde of Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh alias Mukhiyaji.

Sunny Singh was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) from a locality in Patna while Ritesh alias Monu was taken into custody from Bistupur locality in Jamshedpur town, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Ravindra Kumar said.

The accused duo were taken to Ara town in Bhojpur district where they were produced before a court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) who remanded them in judicial custody for 14 days, he said.

There were claims that the SIT has interrogated JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey`s brother and MLC Hulas Pandey for over five hours in connection with alleged involvement in the murder case of the Ranvir Sena chief, but the ADG refused to confirm it.
