BJP ally Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) on Saturday urged Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi to order secret voting on confidence vote alleging pro-Nitish Kumar team of "musclemen" were threatening legislators.

Patna: BJP ally Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) on Saturday urged Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi to order secret voting on confidence vote alleging pro-Nitish Kumar team of "musclemen" were threatening legislators.

"An MLA Anant Singh considered as right hand man of Nitish Kumar even threatened to kill Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi," a letter written by RLSP president Arun Kumar, MP, to the Governor said.

Kumar, who circulated a copy of the letter to mediapersons at a press conference, said he has submitted a video cassette of a private TV channel on which Anant Singh threatened to kill Manjhi.

He alleged that MLAs were in "fear" and in such conditions intervention of the Governor was needed.

Kumar said RLSP demanded the Governor ensure presence of all MLAs during confidence vote and arrest of "Bahubali (muscleman) MLAs".

Union Minister of State for HRD Upendra Kushwaha belongs to the RLSP.
