BJP MLA Sanjay Sarabgi booked for traffic rules violation

Sarabgi was speeding by a vehicle through a no-entry route in Darbhanga town when the traffic Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Parichhan Yadav stopped him.

Darbhanga: A case was registered on Monday at
Lahariasarai police station against BJP MLA Sanjay Sarabgi
for violation of traffic rules and intimidation of a traffic
personnel in Bihar`s Darbhanga district, the police said.

Sarabgi was speeding by a vehicle through a no-entry
route in Darbhanga town when the traffic Assistant
Sub-Inspector (ASI) Parichhan Yadav stopped him upon which
the former abused him and threatened him with dire
consequences before speeding away, the Lahariasarai police
station in-charge T.N. Pandey said.

Yadav apprised his senior officials about the incident
before lodging an FIR against the BJP MLA from Darbhanga Nagar
Assembly seat under sections 188, 186,504 and 506 of the
Indian penal code, he said.

Sarabgi was not available for his comments.
