Patna: Describing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's poll campaign theme 'Har Ghar Dastak' as a gimmick, the BJP on Friday questioned the JD-U's source of funds for the election campaign and claimed that the state government was intimidating corporates for the purpose.

Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi alleged in a statement that the ruling party converted transfers and postings of government employees into an industry to raise money to meet expenditure of the Assembly polls in Bihar.

Modi criticised Kumar for going to doors of the people to find out their problems after pushing Bihar into 'jungle raj' by joining forces with the RJD supremo Lalu Prasad.

"Having pushed Bihar into 'jungle raj' by clinging on to the RJD supremo's lathi, Kumar is indulging in theatrics by going to doors of the people to find out their problems under his campaign theme 'Har Ghar Dastak' (knocking each home).
