Biharsharif: Two bombs, wrapped in a polythene bag, on Thursday exploded at the entrance of Rajgir railway station in Bihar`s Nalanda district, a police official
said.
The bombs, lying on a heap of garbage, went off when a dog tried to open the bag in search of food, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rajgir, Santosh Kumar said.
The dog died on the spot.
There were eleven bombs in the polythene bag, of which two exploded, he said.
No person sustained injuries in the blast, Kumar said adding the Rajgir railway station premises had been sealed and an investigation started.
