Cong asks JD(U)-BJP to clarify position on Raj visit

Congress asked the JD(U)-BJP combine in Bihar to clarify the situation in the wake of the visit of MNS chief Raj Thackeray to BJP office in Mumbai.

Patna: Congress asked the JD(U)-BJP combine in Bihar to clarify the situation in the wake of the visit of MNS chief Raj Thackeray to BJP office in Mumbai yesterday.
``Both Nitish Kumar and BJP leaders used to attack Congress whenever Raj Thackerary-led MNS activists targeted Biharis ... Now they owe an explanation to the people of Bihar in the wake of Raj`s visit,`` state Congress spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra said in a press statement.
MNS chief had yesterday paid a surprise visit to BJP office in Mumbai and met its state president Sudhir Mungantiwar that angered Shiv Sena, which threatened to boycott an NDA rally in Delhi on Wednesday if its ally failed to explain its stand on the meeting.
