Patna: CPI on Friday claimed that neither UPA
nor BJP would be able to come to power next time and said an
alternative would emerge before the next Lok Sabha polls to
fulfil the people`s expectations.
"I am saying these things because the boat of UPA has
already sunk and whosoever he may be to be projected as its
prime ministerial candidate next time, the possibilities of
the alliance coming back to power are ruled out," CPI General
Secretary AB Bardhan told reporters here.
"At the same time BJP is also not going to come to
power ... let the senior party leaders undertake yatra after
yatra or CM hold Sadbhavana mission," he said.
A new alternative would emerge before the general
elections and it would be favourably inclined to the left, he
