Drug Inspector held for graft in Bihar

A drug inspector was arrested by state Vigilance Bureau for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 11,000 at Nalanda Tuesday, vigilance officials said.

Patna: A drug inspector was arrested by state Vigilance Bureau for allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 11,000 at Nalanda Tuesday, vigilance officials said.
On a complaint by Brajnandan Prasad Sinha of Ben village that the accused Bhola Prasad had sought bribe for giving licence for opening a medicine shop, a vigilance team led by
DSP C P Paswan, conducted a search and trapped the inspector red-handed, they said.
Prasad was being brought here for interrogation and will be produced before Special Vigilance court.
