Delhi: Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Tuesday openly dared his party BJP to take action against him over his alleged proximity with Janata Dal (U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

In a series of tweets, the BJP MP from Patna cautioned his party that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

The reactions from Sinha came in view of reports that BJP may take disciplinary action against him after the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.

However, there was no official confirmation to the same.

The actor-politician has been in news for his growing proximity with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Snha has been praising Nitish on and off but has maintained that his equation with Bihar CM is of personal friendship and nothing more.

Recently, the Bihar government had named a college after his father's name.

Government College of Health and Physical Education in Patna has been re-christened as 'BP Sinha Government College of Health and Physical Education'.

The decision assumed significance considering the fact that a proposal to this effect was lying with the Art, Culture and Youth Affairs department since 2009-1en BJP was part of Nitish Kumar government and the minister of the department was from the saffron party, as per PTI.

Sinha had then expressed gratitude towards the state government for naming the college after his father.

Sinha's father had been the founding principal of the college from 1951-59.

When asked about his absence from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rallies in the state, he had said, "I attend a function only when invited. At launch of several projects at Veterinary college by the PM on July 25, I was present. But, since I have not been invited, because of some people of my own party, in all three rallies at Muzaffarpur, Gaya and Saharsa, I did not go.”
