Buxor: Veteran Congress leader and
Ex-Minister Jag Narain Trivedi died Moday night at his
ancestral residence in Bihar's Buxor district of cardiac
arrest, family sources said.
He was 86.
He is survived by two sons and as many daughters.
Trivedi had served as the Public Works Department
(PWD) Minister in the Congress government headed by the then
Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra in 1980s.
The veteran Congress leader also represented Buxor
seat in the state assembly for four terms.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar mourned
Trivedi's demise and announced that the latter's funeral will
be held with full state honours later today.
