Fake currency: 2 inter-state gang members held

Patna: Police on Saturday arrested two inter-state gang members and seized Fake Currency Notes of the face value of Rs four lakh in two bags from them, SSP (Patna) Alok Kumar said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a place in Karbigahiya and arrested the two persons allegedly involved in illicit trade of Indian Fake Currency Notes (IFCNs), Kumar told reporters.

They were identified as Prabhat Kumar Agrawal from Belaganj in Gaya district and another Prakash Maurya from Aurangabad district, he said.

Two mobile phones were also seized from them, the SSP added.
