Patna: Chanakya, the son of former MP and JD-U leader Vijay Krishna, was today chargesheeted in connection with his father's aide and transporter Satyendra Singh murder case, police said here.
The police filed the chargesheet in the case in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate SP Singh, who after taking cognisance of it, referred to Judicial Magistrate Ashok Kumar Singh, for beginning trial.
Police had raided a place on West Boring Canal road here and arrested Chanakya on January 26.
The former MP is currently on bail in the murder case.
Satyendra Singh was killed and his body was dumped in the river ganga, which was later recovered from the outskirts of Patna in June 2009.
