Four crushed to death by herd of elephants

Banka: In another case of man-animal conflict, four persons including three women were killed and others injured after they were attacked by a herd of wild elephants in villages of Bihar`s Banka district, officials said on Sunday.
The animal herd from Pakarua forest stormed into Kashmaha and Jharna villages during the last 24 hours and ran over six persons, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) M Kumar Swami said.
While four persons were killed, two others were seriously injured, he said adding that the deceased include three women.
