Girl thrown out of running train by boyfriend, dies

A 15-year-old girl died on Thursday after she was allegedly thrown out of a running train by a person with whom she had eloped, the GRP here said.

 Sahibganj: A 15-year-old girl died on Thursday after she was allegedly thrown out of a running train by a person with whom she had eloped, the GRP here said.

She boarded the Malda-Jamalpur Intercity Express at Sahibganj railway station along with her "boyfriend" Sadam Hussain and his friend Immamuddin Ansari at 8 AM.

The girl, a resident of Pirpainti in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, fell down from the train when it was crossing Mahadeoganj, about five km from Sahibganj, and died on the spot.

While the railway policeman on duty who arrested the two men from the train alleged that she was pushed outside by Hussain. However, the accused claimed during interrogation that she fell down after losing balance.

She had reached Sahibganj last night and the three were returning to Bihar this morning by the intercity express.

Her brother Tanvir Khan lodged an FIR accusing Hussain of eloping with the girl though she was still a minor.
