Patna: BJP leader and former Deputy CM of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi, said that history would not forget Nitish Kumar for betraying the mandate and breaking alliance with BJP.
He wrote on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “For last six months Nitish Kumar was courting Congress, even going to Congress HQ to see off FM, praising Shahzada, taking certificate of secularism from PM.”
He added, “Now Congress has kicked on their back and aligning with Lalu. History will not forgive Nitish Kumar for betraying mandate and breaking with BJP.

The JD(U) broke a 17 year old alliance earlier this year with the BJP over the importance being given to the Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in his party. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was vehemently opposed to Modi being projected as the PM candidate for 2014 General Elections.
The BJP and JD(U) were running a coalition government in Bihar.
It was being said that the Congress was wooing Nitish after it broke off with BJP. But lately reports have been coming in that the Congress wants an alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav`s RJD in Bihar.
