New Delhi: Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s speech in Gaya, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that how can the Prime Minister `fix Bihar` when he has `ruined the nation`.

"In all the states where BJP govt has formed, public is upset with the system. He should first fix the problems of the country. He has made the country `Bimaru` in one year," Alvi told ANI here.

He added, "People are afraid of the BJP government`s scams and corruption has become common in their tenure. Poverty is rising, economic condition is worsening, the poor man is miserable."

Talking about the impact of the speech Prime Minister Modi made in Gaya, Alvi said that no one trusts the Prime Minister anymore.

"Be it Maharashtra, Haryana or Delhi, prices are soaring. The black money has not yet been returned. The Prime Minister refuses to talk about the primary concerns. He keeps travelling abroad. People do not faith in his words anymore," he said.

Prime Minister Modi on Sunday dubbed the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar as an event to free the state from `jungle-raj` and an arrogant government.

"This election is about making Bihar free from `jungle raj` and an arrogant government. I can see that the people of Bihar have decided upon two things. First is the development of Bihar and second is change," the Prime Minister said at his mega `parivartan` rally in Gaya.
