Patna: Newly-elected JD(U) MLA Kavita
Singh took oath of membership of the assembly on Monday.
Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary administered the oath
at a function held in the library room of the state assembly.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister
Sushil Kumar Modi and other members of the state cabinet were
present on the occasion.
Singh was elected to the state assembly from Daraunda
constituency in the by-poll last week held after the death of
Jagmato Devi, her mother-in-law.
