Nashik: A minor girl abducted from Bihar
early this week was rescued from a Mumbai-bound train, police
said on Saturday.
The Class X student, resident of a village in Munger
district, was rescued from Bhagalpur-Mumbai Express at Nashik
Road station on March 16 evening by Railway Police in
association with their local counterparts.
Police have arrested a woman and charged her with
abduction of the girl. Police suspect the woman was planning
to push the girl in flesh trade in Mumbai.
As the girl went missing three days ago, her parents
approached the Bihar Police, who in turn, got in touch with
their counterparts in Maharashtra.
The victim was later handed over to her relatives who
resident near Nashik, they said.
