Lalan removed as JD(U) parliamentary party leader

Amid reports that rebel MP and former state president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan was campaigning for the Congress, the JD(U) has removed him from the post of the deputy leader of its parliamentary party.

for the Congress, the JD(U) has removed him from the post of
the deputy leader of its parliamentary party.

"We have removed Lalan from the post of deputy leader
of JD(U) parliamentary party," JD-U parliamentary party leader
Ramsunder Das said Wednesday.

Lalan, who has already declared his intention to join
the Congress, is actively involved in campaigning for party
candidates in Bihar this election.
