Patna: Slamming ruling NDA for castigating
his decision to field his former chief minister wife Rabri
Devi from Raghopur and Sonepur assembly constituencies, RJD
supremo Lalu Prasad Tuesday challenged Chief Minister Nitish
Kumar and his deputy S K Modi to contest against her.

"You claim that we have lost confidence ... If you are
confident, I dare both of you to contest from Raghopur
and Sonepur against Rabri Devi to test your popularity,"
Prasad told reporters.

He said Rabri Devi would file nominations from the two
constituencies on October nine.

He was commenting on the Chief Minister and his deputy
deciding not to contest the elections because they were
members of the state Legislative Council.
