Patna: RJD celebrated its chief Lalu Prasad's 64th birthday with fanfare here on Saturday.
Hundreds of party members thronged the RJD office in Patna where cakes and sweets were distributed among them by the leaders.
The main function was, however, organised in New Delhi where Prasad cut the cake and distributed sweets among party workers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, party sources said.
Several party leaders including RJD secretary general Ram Kripal Yadav, leader of opposition in the state Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui and former minister Shakeel Ahmad Khan were also present at the celebrations.
