Patna: Leader of opposition and senior RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddique on Saturday night accused his party boss Lalu Prasad of being encircled by a coterie of sycophants and suggested that he should come out of it for revitalising the party.
Addressing a meeting called by RJD supremo Prasad, at 10 Circular Road in Patna, Siddique said ``the party should be freed from the clutches of sycophants and self-seekers. We want the revitalisation of RJD in Bihar for which we pledge support for Lalu."
Addressing the meeting, former Bihar CM Rabri Devi said she didnot harbour any ambition to become the Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council by replacing Gulam Gaus.
Rabri was declared elected unopposed to the council few days back.
