New Delhi: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's youngest daughter Raj Laxmi will be engaged to SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandson Tej Pratap Yadav in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The engagement is set to take place at a farm house in Chhatarpur area today and the wedding is expected to take place in February next year, as per news reports.
Lalu had visited Mulayam's residence in Lucknow earlier this month to perform the “shagun” ceremony ahead of the wedding.
The two Yadavs are in the forefront of consolidation of opposition forces, bringing six constituents of the erstwhile ‘Janata Parivar’ under the banner of one party.
These parties include SP, Janata Dal (Secular), Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal (United), Indian National Lok Dal and Samajwadi Janata Party.
