Aurangabad: A landmine and an IED planted by Maoists at a proposed polling station in a school under Kutumba Assembly constituency were recovered by securitymen early Wednesday.

Acting on an intelligence report, police carried out a search of the school campus and seized the explosives planted by the ultras, Director General of Police Neelmani said.

A bomb disposal squad is at the spot to defuse the explosives, he said.
