Patna: CPI and CPI-M on Saturday launched a
stat-wide agitation against corruption and price rise in
Bihar.
"Nitish`s oft-repeated declaration of war against
corruption in Bihar is nothing but farce. There is rampant
corruption prevailing in schemes for execution of MNREGA,
Indira Awas Yojana, mid-day meal scheme for children,
appointment of panchayat teachers, nyay mitras and Anganwadi
programme," State CPI secretary Badri Narayan Lal and his
CPI-M counterpart V K Thakur said.
They were addressing hundreds of CPI and CPI-M
activists who staged a day-long sit in near Kargil Chowk here
to protest against corruption and price rise.

They said the two Left parties would launch a state-wide
agitation against corruption and price rise in Bihar.
