Patna: LJP farmers' cell chief Rana Gangeshar Prasad Singh, Senior CPI leader Kameshwar Hajari and Samastipur District Board chief Manju Hajari along with their
several supporters on Monday joined the BJP.
With the joining of LJP's farmers cell chief after its minorities and extremely backward wings' merger with the JD(U), the LJP "has now reduced to a party comprising brothers
only", BJP national vice president Kiran Ghai said on Monday.
"The remains of LJP's identity will be buried with the party heading for a humiliating defeat in the October-November assembly polls," Ghai said. People of Bihar would never like return of the 'dark phase' of Lalu Prasad's rule characterised by "jungle raj,
corruption, anarchy and chaos", she said.
She claimed that the ruling NDA was set to form its government for the second time under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
