Maoist leader held in Bihar

A self-styled area commander of outlawed CPI (Maoist), wanted in the 2005 Jehanabad jail break, was arrested from Khajuri village.

Gaya (Bihar): A self-styled area commander of
outlawed CPI (Maoist), wanted in the 2005 Jehanabad jail
break, was arrested on Thursday from Khajuri village in the
district, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the village and
arrested Satyendra Das alias Vidhyak wanted in connection with
several Maoist operations carried out in Bihar`s Jehnabad,
Aurangabad and Gaya districts.

The ultra is being interrogated by senior police
officials.
