Patna: Five villagers were killed by
Maoists on Saturday at Banda village on a hill in Bihar`s Rohtas
district, Director General of Police Neelmani said.
The victims belong to Kharwars tribal community, the
DGP said.
Security forces led by Superintendent of Police, Rohtas,
Manu Maharaj would reach the spot only tomorrow morning as it
was inaccessible, he said.
The DGP said he has directed IG, Patna, B Srinivasan and
IG (Operations) K S Dwivedi to also go to the spot to oversee
the operations against the Maoists.
