Siwan: A minor girl was gangraped and
murdered by two youths at Narharpur village in Bihar`s Siwan`s
district, a police official said on Thursday.
The 10 year-old was sleeping in the courtyard of her
house last night when the duo, identified as Jitendra and
Jagdish, lifted her forcibly and took to a nearby field where
they raped her before slitting her throat with a sharp object,
the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ashok Kumar Singh
said.
The girl`s body has been recovered and sent for
post-mortem, he said.
Kumar said that both the accused have been arrested
and rape and murder charges slapped against them.
