Model code violation case against Lalu

Siwan: An FIR has been registered against RJD supremo Lalu Prasad charging him with violating the model code of conduct during campaigning for a party candidate here, officials said Monday.

The case was lodged against on Saturday for allegedly using mike at an election meeting at Daraunda for party nominee Parmeshwar Singh without permission from the authorities.

Daraunda will go to bypoll on October 13. The bypoll has been necessitated following the death of sitting JD(U) MLA Jagmato Devi.

These type of case registration must be banned in India. We have seen lalu prasad yadav openly distributing money to voters during 2004 elections. what is the outcome today. unnecessary wastage of time of courts and other machineries.
