Laukaha: The contest for the
November 30 bypoll to the Laukaha assembly seat in Bihar's
Madhubani district, considered prestigious for Chief Minister
Nitish Kumar, will a multi-corner affair with 13 candidates
being in the fray.
The JD(U) has fielded Satish Kumar, the son of former
minister Hari Prasad Sah who died of brain haemorrhage at
AIIMS in New Delhi last September.
The RJD, Congress, CPI, Samajwadi Janata Dal
(Democratic) have also fielded candidates while independents
were also in the fray.
