Myanmar vice president offers prayers at Bodh Gaya temple

New Delhi: Myanmar Vice President Sai Mauk Kham paid visit to the Bodh Gaya's Mahabodhi temple.

"He came here to offer his prayers. A special pooja was performed inside the temple. He also donated an idol, that was also installed here," said Bhante chalinda, the chief monk of Mahabodhi temple .

Kham is in India on a five-day visit from January 19 to 23.
