No talks have been taken place
between NCP and Congress for an alliance in the coming Bihar
assembly polls and the former would maintain equal distance
with NDA and RJD-LJP combine, a top NCP leader said today.
The party has been gearing itself to contest all the
243 assembly seats in Bihar to keep the communal and casteist
forces at bay, he said.
The party will hold a workers` conference here on
August 6 to be addressed by Union Agriculture minister NCP
chief Sharad Pawar.
The party would organise a number of meetings and
conferences in the state to win the support of the people of
Bihar, Anwar said.
The workers conference would be followed by a meeting
of All India NCP Chatra Morcha and state level conference of
the party`s women cell, he said.
