Saharsa: In the fifth leg of his Seva Yatra
to review the development projects and listen to peoples`
grievances, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today airdashed
to Saharsa and inspected construction progress of two bridges
in the district.
Kumar went to Jalei and inspected a Rs 20 crore bridge
project and later went to Baluahaghat to review the progress
of construction of a Rs 531 crore bridge between Darbhanga and
Bihar Bridge Construction Corporation (BBCC) officials
informed Kumar that the bridges would be completed by 2013,
The chief minister had laid the foundation stone for the
Baluahaghat bridge two years ago. On completion of this dream
project, a lifeline for the residents of Saharsa and Darbhanga
would be in place.
Kumar had kicked off his Yatra from West Champaran
district and has visited Muzaffarpur, Sheikhpura and Awrwal
districts to review the development projects and listen to
the grievances of the public.
