Nitish Kumar takes jibe at PM Modi, says govt listens, acts, responds only on Twitter

Patna: Hours before Prime Minister's 'Parivartan' rally in Gaya, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday took a jibe at him calling Centre as 'Union Twitter Government' which acts and responds only on the social networking site.

Nitish Kumar took to twitter to express his views:

Asking for PM's response, Nitish also posted a collection of his tweets:

"Modiji even though you didn't answer my ques, was heartening to see you open speech at Muzaffarpur taking cognizance of my tweets," said Nitish, who also re-posted his tweets asking for a response from the Prime Minister to the various questions he had posed before his earlier rally in Muzaffarpur.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the high profile 'Parivartan' rally in Bihar's Gaya today.

Drones have been put in place for surveillance while over 2,000 police constables and 1,000 magistrates and police officers have been deployed on rally duty.

During his address at NDA's 'Parivartan Rally' in Muzaffarpur last month, PM Modi had alleged that Nitish Kumar - who snapped ties with the BJP two years ago because of his legendary rivalry with him - practices "political untouchability," recalling that he had once refused to offer him dinner.

Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has vowed to organize nine rallies in support of all the three parties constituting the Janata Parivar in Bihar, to give a fitting reply to Prime Minister Modi.

The Assembly Polls in Bihar would be held most likely in September or October this year.

The BJP, which along with its allies had won 31 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, is set for a battle against a united Janata Parivar comprising of the JD (U) and RJD.
