Nawada, Bihar: Protests continued against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar – who is on ‘Adhikar yatra’ across the state- on Tuesday when a youth tried to throw a chair at him during a rally in Nawada.

As per initial reports, the unnamed youth was part of the crowd waiting for the Chief Minister to arrive at the rally venue. He threw a plastic chair at Nitish Kumar while he was walking towards the stage from his car.

Luckily, the chair narrowly missed Kumar.

The youth was arrested and is being questioned by the police. JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar termed the attack as part of a larger conspiracy and claimed that the youth was a RJD worker, however, there is no official confirmation on the same.

Earlier, condemning similar attacks, Nitish Kumar said the violence by protesters during his ongoing was unbecoming of democratic and political culture of the state.

"The protesters pelted stones on my motorcade and made a bid on my life related stories apparently to stop me in my endeavour to seek betterment of Bihar and its people by getting special status," he said.

No one more than our hon`ble CM likes himself opposed in public these days. The infamous stuntman of Bihar is creating pandemonium by changing the trajectory of Bihar that Lalu and his predecessors couldn`t.His opposition had hardly ever been feebler. The throwing of chapel and now plastic chair and then may be a nylon broom all these are victimhood delivering missiles with no lethal value in physical terms. The BJP bashers of NK are actually not the courageous dissenters but paid volunteers helping this registered TV character sell his self seeking agenda to the baffled Bihari masses once again .As of now NK may not be able to think of a better move to inflate the ever shrinking shadow of his glorious past than to project himself as an unjust victim of lawless unholy mobs.Power is a seductive mistress, an addictive thrill, one taste and you’re left thirsting for more. It`ll be interesting to see what NK and his hagiographers write , publish and air about this callous plastic chair atrocity committed against the self-proclaimed VIKAS PURUSH of Bihar. The NDA cartel has deprived Biharis of the chance to prosper but that doesn`t make the idea any less desirable.

Doesn`t Nitish understand that edia hype of being `secular` has its limits? He has failed as a CM plain and simple. Time for Bihar to change him with a more capable leader.
