One killed, 16 injured in Chapra road mishap

Chapra: The driver of a bus was killed
and 15 passengers were injured when a Bihar State Road
Transport Corporation (BSRTC) bus collided with a truck
at Ekam village in Bihar`s Saran district today, police said.

The Patna-bound bus from Hasanpura collided with the
truck coming from the opposite direction after the driver lost
control over it, police said.

The driver of the bus died on the spot, while the truck
driver was critically injured in the mishap.

15 passengers of the bus were also injured and being
treated at nearby hospitals and private clinics where
condition of six was stated to be serious.
