Phagwara: One person was killed while seven others, all migrant workers from Bihar, were injured when their vehicle rammed into a tree, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred last evening when the vehicle driver lost control over the four-wheeler and it rammed into a tree near village Simbli on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road, they said.
The car was coming from Mehtiana to Phagwara when the mishap occurred.
The deceased has been identified as Amritpal Singh.
