Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar
today said that the Congress and RJD-LJP alliance had conceded
that there was development in Bihar during NDA rule.

"Our adversaries have at least conceded that there has
been development in Bihar and my government has succeeded in
making development a political and electoral agenda in Bihar,"
Kumar told a function to launch the E-Shakti for payment of
wages to rural labourers under MNREGA.

"The Congress has been saying that the development in
Bihar has taken place with the central funds which is a
compliment to the NDA government," Kumar said.

"The Congress should understand that it is only a
trustee of resources at the national level and so is the state
government at the local level," he said.

Kumar also took a dig at the RJD-LJP alliance for
promising development in the state in the event of return to
power.

He said that he had succeeded in making development a
buzz word with the masses and hoped that the reward would be a
second term at the hustings.

He said he was waiting for the annoucement of the poll
dates in Bihar as as he was confident of a positive outcome.
