Ara (Bihar): A passenger was shot at and injured by two robbers for resisting them in a running train near Jamila halt under Danapur division of the East-Central Railway in Bihar's Bhojpur district, GRP sources said.
Ajit Kumar, a native of Dhandiha village of Bhojpur district, was injured after he was shot at by two robbers for resisting robbery bid in the Patna-bound 0526 passenger train, the sources said.
The robbers jumped out of the train after firing at the passenger who was taken to the Patna Medical College and Hospital.
An investigation was on in the matter.
